Pastoral Partners Australia (PPA) continues to deliver on our commitment to optimise both the productivity and sustainability of our properties. Since our establishment less than 3 years ago, we have invested heavily in infrastructure to ensure that each property is well equipped to optimise both carbon sequestration and grazing productivity, provide strong animal welfare outcomes, and improve long-term resilience.
By 30 June 2026, PPA will have invested approximately $6 million across its portfolio in key infrastructure projects. These works include significant upgrades to fencing, water systems, yards, structures, plant and equipment, and grading.

A major focus of this investment has been fencing, with more than $3 million allocated to upgrading and constructing circa 300 kilometres of new fencing across PPA’s properties. This work underpins effective livestock and pasture management, strengthens biosecurity measures, and improves safe, efficient stock handling.
Upgrades to water infrastructure, including tanks, troughs, and pipelines, have improved water access across the whole of the properties and increased reliability and security across the portfolio. Approximately 50kms of pipe and 60 tanks and troughs have been installed in this work.
Yard and handling facility upgrades are also playing an important role. Modern, well-designed yards make livestock handling safer and more efficient for both animals and staff, supporting low-stress handling practices and high operational standards. Similarly, investments in new and upgraded structures — such as sheds, houses, and workshops — provide functional spaces for on-site teams and improve the storage, maintenance, and operation of equipment and vehicles.

Every investment made by PPA contributes to the company’s broader productivity and sustainability goals. These upgrades enhance both carbon credit and protein production and improve landscape condition and resilience.
Through careful planning and consistent investment, PPA is building a strong foundation for long-term success. This ensures PPA properties remain highly productive, sustainable, and well-positioned for the future.
